About Us

The Albany Creek Masters Swimming club (affectionately known as "The Ducks") was founded in 1998.

The club meets regularly on Sunday mornings at the Albany Creek Leisure Centre. We swim all year round and the pool is heated to 26C.

We have around 31 financial members and regularly get around 20+ members turning up for the Sunday session.

In 2024 we will continue focusing on developing endurance swimming pathways and engagement along with competitive opportunities for swimmers.

We also like to travel and participate in other swim meets in the Brisbane area and support the other Masters clubs where possible.

The club is affiliated with Queensland Masters Swimming, Masters Swimming Australia and FINA.

A General Meeting is held on the 1st Sunday of the month at 8.30am. All members are encouraged to attend and be involved in decision making.

We welcome new members any time of the year, and at any ability of swimming.
